• Biltong vs Jerky, What's the Difference? - Biltong is traditionally Air Dried and then sliced into bite-size pieces, preserved with Vinegar and Originated from South Africa. Biltong is a more Tender Texture than Jerky. Whereas Jerky is sliced into pieces then Slow Dried/Hot Smoked, preserved with Salt and Originated from North & South America. You'll find Jerky is a tough, dry texture compared to Biltong
