Refund & Returns Policy
Australian Consumer Law Guarantee
We comply fully with the Australian Consumer Law, which provides consumer guarantees for goods and services. You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if an item:

Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it had they known,

Is unsafe,

Is significantly different from the description or sample,

Doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
If the issue is major, you may choose a replacement or a refund. For minor issues, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it cannot be repaired, we will offer a replacement or refund. You may also choose to keep the item and receive compensation for any reduction in value.
Aussie Storm Shop 30-Day Change of Mind Returns
We also offer an additional 30-Day Change of Mind Return Policy for most items.
Conditions for Change of Mind Returns:

You must contact us within 30 days of receiving your item.

The item must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.

A 5% restocking fee will apply to all change of mind returns.

You are responsible for the cost of return postage.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

Opened or used consumables (e.g. filters, fluoride elements)

Perishable goods (e.g. food)

Personal care, intimate, or sanitary products

Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases

Downloadable software
-
Gift cards
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, minus any applicable restocking or shipping fees.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:

Check your bank account.

Contact your credit card company (processing times may vary).

Contact your bank. If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at sales@aussiestormshop.com.au.
Order Cancellations
Orders cancelled before dispatch due to change of mind will also incur a 5% restocking fee.
Return Instructions
To initiate a return, please contact us at sales@aussiestormshop.com.au with your order number and reason for return. Do not send your item back to the manufacturer.
Return shipping address and further instructions will be provided after approval.
